Separate him, unless you have fish that can stand up to his aggressive nature.
 
flowerhorns should be in a tank alone in the first place.unless you are breeding them.even when you breed them you still have to divide the tank first.
 
sorry i disagree,my 6 inch fh is doing great with my giant gourami 23 inches.i also have a dempsey/convict in with them.there are alway's exceptions
 
Mine is in a community tank and does ok. He does lock up with the midas on occasion but leaves everyone else alone. Being the smallest in the tank does help.
