mean joe green and goldie locks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i bought them as azuls . they do look dark compared to a lot of pics iv seen of other ones . but they also fade in and out from light to dark a lot . when there excited over food or sparing they darken right up and fast too .

thanks bass guy , so any ideas on if they will be ok together as long as there isnt a female present or am i looking at possible problems as they get more mature anyway ?
I like odd number groups because it helps spread the aggression. Two males will fight but most the time it ends up not that bad, if you add a female and it could get worse. If you could find a third male about the same size that would be the best.

:)

Interesting thread and great pics. They look exactly like mine. I have two males and two females. I bought them as Rio Araguaia Azuls. Intersesting to see that yours have retained a lot of the body spots.
Mine seemed to have lost their spots as they got older. I'll take some fresh pics tomorrow and post them. Here are some pics from six months ago.
