Anyone else have a mean @ss senegal? All of my polys get along except for my sen. He took a dorsal fin off my ornate when I first got the ornate, but hadn't shown any aggression since. This weekend, I introduced all of them into my 100 gallon tank. The next day, I noticed my delhezi had a little damage to his tail, but I hadn't noticed any aggression. The only thing I had noticed was that my ropes, delhezi, albino, and ornate were constantly hiding under the lone piece of driftwood. The sen was out and about. Last night I noticed the albino had the same little damage to his tail. So, I pulled the senegal out and put him back in the 55. Low and behold, all of the polys are out and about now, even my new african knife was out and about. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this with a senegal.

Its not species speific mine was a P.lap who had to be housed on his own-Anne

Never had that problem, my large one is way more interested in swimming around all day, and the two in the growout seem to be friends.

Dreamsofpeace54 has a super aggressive senegal...we think it might have even eaten the smaller other sen that was with it.

My senegal is a little rough towards other sens. But he doesn't bother any other species.

weird, all of the bichirs I ever kept were angels towards other fish (feeders aside) and each other
