Mean swordtail attacking my new angels

:screwy: My female swordtail is attacking my new baby angels! When one of my angels was dying and the swordtail bit it and started shaking it. The angel got free and I put it in an Isolation tank. I found it dead the next morning and another one dying of the same thing. Do you think that the sword has anything to do with it. I got new angels after two died. I got a few pics of them attacking my angels.

Could you people please reply! I'm having a lot of trouble with my angels and I don't know how they're dying. Two more of them have died in the past two days! Please! Could you help me!
 
Make three that have died! Could you please help me! I really need it! I don't want to sound impatient, but I really don't have much time before I have no more angels. Please help me with advice on how you think they died and what should I do to stop it. I really need help!
 
i had the same problem with angel fish. when i had him the only thing i can tell you is if you c the sword tail attacking them put that fish in a quarintin tank. and let the angels be introduced into a stress free enviorment. that is probebly one reason for them die n off like that is stress. so seprate the sword tail for like a week and then put the sword tail back in there. so that the angel fish arnt put in there and right off the bat getting all stressed out and beat up.
 
Ok thanks a lot, I was thinking of doing that. The quarintene tank I have is 10 gallons. I have a bunch of other fish, should I put the two angels I have left in there or the swordtail?
 
get rid of the sowrdtail and keep the angels.


just kidding, not serious. probably the st is giving a lot of stress to the angels, so do what fisherman told, keep him separated and introduce later.
IF it doesn't work, wait till the angels are bigger to reintroduce the swordtail, so they won't be SO afraid and stressed with him
 
have you tested your water? what are your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate readings?

Could you please explain what you mean by this?

Fish can die from stress brought by constant harassments. Always isolate the bully if it becomes quite a problem that leads to the demise of another.
