Wolffishes are one of the nicest fish around....have also been dreaming of getting one of them....but quite hard to find them here....

The top pic is a black hoplias species.
The bottom 2 look to be (Aimara/Mac) most likely from Brazil in or around Amapa.
The middle guys are malabaricus.....

I had one about 9inch three years ago common type. Very nasty individual it damn near took one of my fingers whiel feeding beef heart and not paying attention. I miss him greatly!

For example a Goliath African Tiger Fish can fetch over 1k where as a Vittatus also an african tiger fish may only cost 80$. If he in fact had a legit Lacerdae 900$ may not be too much to spend.. You know aimara which are also wolf fish can fetch 2k-5k if you can even locate one. A Lacerdae is not your common wolfish you see at your local store for 50 bucks.
