Unless you have a HUGE tank able to house a large shoal of P's, they are actually pretty boring fish.

piranhas in the right setup are awesome especialy if you get soem of the more exotic species. you need a bunch and a big tank, and ul ahve one hell of a frenzy, and they will acualy swim around. otherwise its a waste i think. like Bitter said prety boring.

Exodons for sure! I've seen them push full sized JDs into corners at the LFS. They're pretty too!

I could not agree more. Just a few P's in a tank is worthless, they hardly ever move and are scared of there own shadow.

Yes they are small fish but they make up for it by constantly moving.

And exo's are neat in any shoal size above 10 fish. As long as you put them in a small enough tank. For example 10 exo's in 55g are very boring. But 10 exo's in a 10g are very active and awesome to watch.

I prefer the look of 50 exo's in a 55g. Or larger shoals and larger tanks.

The P debate is interesting to me. Confirms what I always thought - they are boring in an aquarium environment. Respect for the wild situation though, no matter how exaggerated!
