wow!
he looks like hes grown a bunch.

Yeah he grew like 2.5-3 inches and got thicker really fast.He also just just shed his teeth. Now he is knockinging them back. He has swallowed a 4''body length feeder and three 2'' body lenngth feeders all in one feeding. It was amazing to watch the 4'' feeder trying to get out of his mouth and the Armatus flicked on the power switch and just manhandled the the feeder like nothing.Armatus are strong fish. He still only eats in the dark, is this normal?I have to move in 1 month and dread the thought of having to catch him. When I got him at 3-5 -4" I had to net him and he went nuts trying to bite everything. I did get nabbed and it made me bleed from a bite to the finger and it hurt a bit then. Any ideas of how to catch him safely? Thanks

he should be at about that age where he wont care if the lights are on or off. try feeding only in the day time.

when moving him try to handle him as little as possible. their scales are very delicate and will rub off very easy.

tank to bucket as fast as possible!

Yeah, review my thread in the fish health and disease. I'd recommend getting the largest fine-meshed net you can find, that way you don't come into contact with his scales. That and remove all decor beforehand, if you have any.
