Be advised that P.Teugelsi is only found in one river and I believe in one section of that river if they are ever imported be prepared for sticker shock.
As for P.ansorgii asfar as can be determined there are only 2 in captivity 1 in the USA the other Japan once again sticker shock.
Either of the above species should command prices in the thousands of dollars due to rarity
Meh. I figure once I get bichir bichir not to get my hopes up for the others unless I win the lottery. Im a manager at a fast food restaurant - and I'm not very great at saving money. They can be on my list for a long long time and I won't be bothered by not completing it. Oh, I ordered two small endlis from Darmalis Dragonfish - they're on backorder so I'll post pix when I get them. I luv endlis
as for those rare bichirs, based on what i learned from toyin, i honestly think bichir bichir is harder for him to get than the other ones, even though there are more (relatively speaking) bichir bichir in japan.
where are the pics? when i moved into my i measured my bichirs and everybody was from 8 to 12" with my ornates growing longer while my delhzi grew fatter. i have six in all and am still trying to figure who will be #7, choices are mokemble, weeksi, endi or p.polli with the green fins , any suggestions would help. and the fins really do hurt when the stick about four of them in you at the same time.
POLLI! Definitely you need green fin pollis And as for pics, I've got a thread within the past three or four days in this forum. I'll link it in a minute.
