Hi,

Awhile back I ordered these spoons to use for my dry ferts in my planted tanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330454356624&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I have yet to receive them in the mail. Long story short the post office lost or stole it and been playing games with me for a month and a half. I been using liquid fertilizer but I have not yet got a chance to use my dry ferts. Here's the deal, I am going to just re-buy the spoons. But I do not want to wait and go through the hassle of ordering online. Is there a store I could find these at that I could drive to? Thanks

I've seen them at the doller store, man you need to get out more =P

Try dollar stores first. They usually have a few sets. But why did you order spoons labeled with "tad", "dash" and "pinch"? Wouldn't you rather have a spoon tell you it's 1/4 tsp or something?

that's how they are commonly sold. a simple google search will tell what each name equals in fractions of a teaspoon. btw, these are pretty hard to find in stores. most will only carry the bigger sizes. for dosing, you need very small spoons like 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64, etc. that's why we get them online.

It was unclear to me how miniscule those spoons are. They look like standard kitchen spoons from the pic.

What about a drug store or vitamin store where you buy powdered vitamins, etc.? Perhaps a science store. Yeah, any place that would sell a chemistry set for junior high-ers ought to sell those tiny portion spoons.

I have a set that my brother in law who is a professional chef in Buffalo, NY gave me. Just figured that if you were to look at that Restaurant Depot store you could find em.
