I think it's a good idea to have a place for when we just want to show off our pets as opposed to asking a question about them. It definitely will free up some of the clutter.

Not ment to be offensive, just expressing my opinions on a second thread on the same topic.

I guess I haven't noticed the pictures-only threads. Often a photo starts a great conversation. Where do you draw the line?

Anyhow, I guess you can close this thread if it gets out of hand, but I still think it is a valid question. I realize there are some very vocal proponents and opponents of this topic, I want to know which side is favored by the MAJORITY of MFK herpers.

I appreciate that, but the concern of whether people liking it or not WILL fall on deaf ears. Every single sub forum has one now, and I think it will stay like this according to the higher ups. I feel like a broken record here, but again it helps sift things, while we all love pics we also want to remain an informational site first and foremost.

Hey Dan whether people like it or not; its here to stay, it was created for the reasons expressed by other members and I think its a great tool to sift informational posts from those threads that are 11 pages long with only pics.

Plus this threads already been derailed and will continue to go that way.
