Rena Black filstars anybody know there biomedia load. I would think they are alot more prous than matrix or biomax.
Matrix holds about 200 sq feet gallon
while ehiem substrate holds 18,000 sq gallon!
bioballs hold 150 and pot scrubbers hold like 300.
Seems like the ehiem substrate would be alot better to put in a canister than matrix or scrubers!
I am thinking to but a huge amount of substrate and add it to the bottom of my 30 gallon wet dry!
Anybody want to add some advice on this!
