i know you said medium but why not get a bunch of small channa like gauch or the others? and breed them?

Thanks for they reply's guys, my LFS, has this snakehead and over here in japan
they call this a violet snakehead??!! can't see much violet in that..

I do think this is a channa aurantimaculata, am i right?
It sells for around 15us, rather cheap i think, the size is 14cm..i am thinking of buying one of these babys..

How is the temperament of this channa in general?

Well, i bought one of these auranti yesterday!..and it is a very pretty fish indeed!
For now, it is my quarantine tank, just to make sure he is not carrying anything, before he gets moved to his "real" tank....
It's is already eating...bloddworms and hikari pellets

nothing. Your tank is 15 gallons and it packed. I suggest you get rid of a lot of your fish. or get a bigger tank
