my pair of oscars have overstayed their welcome in my stingray tank. they were only introduced to the tank when they were 2'' to cycle' and mature my new tank when i moved house and are fully grown now and im getting fed up with their disgusting excreta (was going to use the 's' word).

would be interested to read from mfk members as to what would be a nice background fish for my rays to fill in the middle and top area of the tank. something medium sized that max out at around 6-10''.
dont want silver dollars or tinfoils.

thanks in advance.

Vince.

p.s pics would be appreciated as a visual reference.

Black Belt Cichlids? I don't think there's anything you could keep with Motoros that's smaller than Motoros, lol

ive tried introducing vieja's in with them and pearsei. . . next day the motoros had little nibbles taken off their flanks.
so cichlids are a no-no for me.

I know you said no cichlids, but what about some Geos, not as aggressive like Vieja, a small group would look pretty nice

Pinktail chalceus, hujeta gar, dats.
