Cue the James bond theme song....
Anyways. I stopped by my LFS to see if they had anything new and low and behold they were unloading a fresh shipment of fish from "The Wet Spot"
So I waited and helped out a bit and got first look at all the new stuff the owner had picked out. I guess she went on a bit of a Pleco frenzy cause she got 8-10 non-commons. She had two L-200, green Phantoms. Beautiful and I almost got one. She had one L-002 which is the black and white tiger. Good looking specimen and again I almost bought him. Then the last pleco to be pulled out was a beautiful L-007. Commonly know as the Galaxy. The bag was marked with the other name for 007's The "Vampire Pleco".
So I ended up getting the Vampire for my 55 Riparium I'm working on. He is currently hanging out with a pair of my Kribensis till I get the 55 done and cycled. Most 007's I have seen are a dark brown kinda chocolate color. This guy is nearly black with white spots. I hope he stays this dark as he gets older. He will look amazing under the full spectrum plant lights the Riparium will have.
Here he is. 2 quick shots. Not the greatest as he was still hiding at the back of my tank.
