Have fun everyone, sorry to have missed you all.
Sorry you couldn't make it Ed, was looking forward to meeting you.
Enjoyed meeting Eric (IBN) and he put on an excellent presentation. (shrimp were VERY popular at the auction).
Congratulations go out to Bobby, who won his Class, Division and Reserve of Show with one of his beautiful Malawi Peacocks (I'll let him post a pic). Oh yeah, he also won the photo division!!

Hey Ed, Eric kept me up-to-date with your travel misfortunes. A real bummer.:-(
I was so looking forward to meeting you and the wife this weekend. Putting the voice and photos together in the real live package would have completed our friendship.

Eric, sorry I didn't give you a proper "best wishes and goodbye" Sunday. I couldn't make it because I couldn't walk. Damaged my knee somehow and the back spassed on me late Saturday night. After driving home, pulled into the driveway, got out and couldn't walk. :'( I had to call Jo from my cell phone to come out help me. Poor girl had to unload all my crap and put the fish back into the tanks for me too.:-|
After a full days rest and twelve anti-inflammatory drugs, I am almost back to normal. :-D
Anyway, it was really cool to meet you in person and enjoyed your talk on the shrimps and help with the Aquascaping demo. Very informative stuff.B-)

I'll post pix of all the winners in another thread later. In the meantime, the fish in my avatar was the winner in class, division, and second best (reserve) in show. Aulonocara Baenschi. Excluding the discus, probably the "biggest" cichlid there too.:-D
Thanks, Bobby, I was bummed also. First my voice went, and I could not talk, then the reservations got delayed till 12:00 am and then got canceled at 10:00 pm as we were about to head out the door. The next flight would get us there by 6pm next day, at which time the whole thing would have been over. Next time, then.
