it would be a wild guess without a measurement of the head length but i'm gonna say 10'. I could be off, and it could be 13', but people tend to overestimate lengths as result of the overwhelming mass and bulk of some animals. It can be very deceiving, but IIRC, of the gators I have seen in the wild (very up-close and personal lol) in the 12-14' range, their heads were MUCH bigger.
Also, sex plays a bit of a part in it, as it does in lizards particularly the "Jowels" of the male add mass and volume to the head. If this is in fact a male, I am surprised, but at 13' the chances of it being a female are extraordinarily low since they rarely top 10', but this is also a captive animal and will likely grow much larger and faster than wild gators as a result of more frequent feedings and low-stress environment, so a 13' female in captivity is more likely.
IDK, the thread says "GWENDOLYNE" but the newcast called it a "male".....i'm just speculating. Your guess is as good as mine.
How about that,I have never before heard of a male anything going by the name Gwendolyn, maybe the guy just likes that name for sentimental reasons or perhaps his kid came up with the name.
I'll go with your guess as far as size and all as you know more about crocodilians than I do.
