that is also the point i was trying to get across .. you were saying fastest land vehicle which it is not ... not even close

HOWEVER it is the fastest mass transport vehicle on land ... it is not faster then the Boeing 747 as it sits ... but i understand where it has the potential to do much more
 
Since the train is technically hovering when it reaches those huge speeds, wouldnt it disqualify it from the land speed record anyways?

It is still considered a land vehicle because it levitates on a magnetic field It is not really flying.
