Nice looking Oscar...thanks for the pics!:) He's got some nice color. Is he a "Lemon Oscar"? I have an albino oscar...and yours has a lot more orange/yellow look to him.

And hey...never hurts to have an extra bucket in this fish-keeping hobby!:)

Thanks Pigoo.I'm not sure if it would be considered a lemon Oscar or not as I've never heard that term before yesterday.Someone made the remark that it looks like a lemon but I wasn't sure what he meant lol.

how big is it now?
I think he's darker than lemons. but very attractive. how sad he was gonna just die in a bucket.

Beautiful fish Kr.

It could very well be a lemon Oscar. All albino Oscars have the red eyes.

Lemon Oscars have very similar yellow/gold coloring to some Albinos, but due not lack the pigmentation and have normal dark eyes.

A close up shot of the head would make it easier to tell for certain, or you could just look closely and is it is a lemon they are somewhat rare. awesome save either way!
