Here's my all black nasty guy... Mr Evil, a 5" male Neetroplus Nematopus... He lives and shares and holds his own with a breeding pair of Festae and a large male Labiatus...and treats them with disdain

I wonder if these guys can beat up Jewel cichlids.

I had a Jewel so mean and fast he was fn everybody fins up. I gave him to my friends tank and he got killed by the tank boss(red texas)

Yeah they can chew on much large fishes fins but in the tank with the Festae and Labiatus hes just steers clear... however I have a pair of neets share with a pair of Cutteri and they're always chewing at their fins... Firemouths or anything slightly larger will get tormented and their finnage ruined.

A jewel cichlid wouldn't bother a Neet... they'll soon have only 50 - 75% of their fins left.
