Nope they are CA cichlids typically found in Nic and Costa Rica rivers and lakes. Dovii are one of their main predators.

love these lil guys i had a breeding pair years ago... fry made great feeders for my grow out dovii's...they are there favorite snacks in the wild...now i would not do that to any new worlds these days ...lol just africans and hybrids....
