I think Odos dig more then most cichlids ive kept. They never get comfortable with there settings. I took all the gravel out to keep them focused on each other trying to get them bonded. And they just hid like there was notihng to do. I put only a lil in that they can still move but all to one side of the tank. and thats what they do. Move all gravel to the left spawn move all gravel to the right spawn. Had to use heavy rocks for borders n what not.

these are tthe babies i pulled. the others still with mom n dad are a lil bigger. and they look ready to lay again.

Welp moms left my windows wide open in the winter over here and my tank temp dropped to critical. On my home to my apt in queens from long island. my girls e brake got stuck engaged so i had to drive it to pepboys ask my mom at 130am to come get us and bring us to her house. when i got in my room all fish even the babies were on there side toussaint was upside down so was matilde. toussaint died during shock therapy matilde is holding on but getting weak. im raising the temp of the tank with an extra heater. RIP Toussaint. Hoping to pull some babies and there mother out of this fire alive. i still have about 200 growouts at my apt. guess ill have to start over. :(
