Thanks! I've been meaning to get around to this, but he strikes REALLY quickly---it's tough to keep it in focus long enough. I'll definitely have some feeding stuff up here soon though (I just got a new camera and I'm not afraid to use it!).

Thanks---I wish I'd had the shutter/aperture settings ready for that one, I was just messing around with the focus when he got all pissed off all of a sudden. Next time, I'll be ready.
superpopjavaan;1255504; said:By river do you mean the Amazone river??? According to http://nl.piranha-fury.com the S. Rhombeus is widely spread throughout Tropical South-America. They can be found in the Amazone Basin, the Rio Orinoco Basin, the Guyana's, Venezuela and Peru. Here's a little map of the area where they are known to live: http://nl.piranha-fury.com/information/piranha_species_map.php?species=rhombeus
PS: If I missunderstood your question then sorry![]()
Thanks for the help---I'm wondering which particular tributary/part of the basin he's from (there are morphological variations between rhoms taken from different areas). Great info, though!
