Thanks for the pic PhullTank! These guys are awesome, that is why I would like to bring a big one in!

I mean, that list is amazing. Do you only get large size cats? Or can you get juvies? I lke to watch them grow!

We can request juvies.. Sometimes it is a seasonal thing, where the juvies are super plentiful, or you can only catch large adults. Right now I have the ability to get a box with 100 tiny RTC, but 10 months out of the year they aren't even available!

(my immediate choices include: marble pim, planiceps shovelnose, pseudodoras niger, megl. irwini, ornate pim...the rest I'd have to look up!)

Marble Pim.. as in, Perruno Cat? We have them in-stock.

Imported Ornate Pims last time around, because I had seen people asking for them before.. I only ended up selling 2 and giving the other survivors away as freebies. No one was THAT interested I guess... Heh.

I might have to look into bringing a box of Planiceps up, I have had many requests for them. I am just sometimes cautious about specific species, and how well they acclimate to our water. I have been noticing that some of the rarer catfish out of that area aren't big fans of our hard water, such as Tigrinus and Goslinia, but it could also be other complications too. Have yet to order Planiceps, and not exactly sure how hardy they are? Any Feedback?

I can get the P. Niger's too, but since not many fit per box, their initial price is a little expensive.. However, I might re-think bringing these in as well..

Irwini is on the list ;) Just the 1 big guy though.

A few other cats I want to try to bring in, but we will see how much room I have left on this import. Hoping that Miguel can come through with the smaller Bolt cats, that fit 4 per box, as it should lower the price substantially.. If not, I have 1 large bolt cat coming :)

wow, that's one hell of an ugly fish. it's so cool!

planticeps are awesome, had one in my 240 gallon and was the fastest growing fish I had ever seen. Did not seem to mind water conditions in Colorado.

I had a planiceps in a pond here in S. Florida that was doing great with our hard water. Unfortunately, Katrina flooded it and he went missing.

he probably grew lungs and is now living in excile over in the ozarcs :woot:
