Okay, sorry, the way you worded the first post led me to believe that you had ammonia in your tank. My bad.

That's a good habit to be in. I don't think I've come across anyone on here (aside from myself) that tests their water before and after water changes and logs their readings. Good job to you ma'am!

And I have two three gallon quarantine tanks. I do them small because I can afford to throw the filter cartridges away each time and start clean.

BTW his "thing" is gone already.
