Melafix yes or no

Just bought an indo as you have seen, my giant danios have a small amount of mouth fungus can i treat it in the tank bearing in mind i have a dat and a bgk

I have used it many times and never had a problem, but many other people claim it has killed there fish. I don't think it was the melafix that killed there fish it has never killed any of mine.

I have used melafix with dats a few times its been ok but i wouldn't add a full doesage.

Melafix won't fix any disease, but will help an injury. For fungus control, use meds.

I've used Melafix with my dats with no problems.

But like wurm said, use true medications to cure any disease...so if you have to medicate, I would say use a quarantine tank.

melafix with dats i would use 1/2 dose! My gf killed 2 baby dats like 6 months ago, by adding too much to MY tank. I was livid.

But melafix is awesome!

i have only ever used it once before the whole time i kept fish and it was for a wound, i dont think it cures anything but helps with infection control.
