Never measured so guessing around 11" at present.

No offense but that does not look like a pure Melanurus. I've raised and bred some nice ones.

No offense taken. Most would know it as synspilus or synspilum hence the confusion. This species has undergone a recent reclassification and DNA test have confirmed synspilum and melanurus to be one and the same. As synspilum is the junior synonym to melanurus, melanurus takes precedence.
