Yeah...I just took it out again and rubbed off more of the fuzz. Looks like the rhizome is still hard. And just to give you an idea of how "petite" it is...

Wow, that is SO TINY! Good luck with it. I would normally advise to try to cut back to a part that is absolutely viable, but right now, I think maybe trying to pull off all of the mooshy/melted parts away from the rigid rhizome. As long as it stays rigid, I think you have a good chance of it bouncing back.

I guess I'm just holding on to this because I've never seen an Anubias this small and it looked real cool...and it was pretty pricey for such a small thing, but it looked good, so I couldn't resist ($11).
