are there a lot of members around here who have mudskippers in a special tank?
i do! :D
and i will post some pics later on.
i would like to see how poeple made their tanks
and the experiences with their mudskippers

I don't have one in a species specific tank.

I have one with other brackish fish in a 75 gal, he's got a floating piece of cork wood to hop on and the water level is lowered a few inches.

I have mine in a pond indoors. The pond is new but they keep escaping some how so i need to make a taller fence around the pond, (none have died theyve all been found around the house the following morning.

Your lucky, they usually dont last 20 minute away from water

a mini pond inside your house, wow
i just have a big tank

and mudskippers can survive realy long without water
as long as the air isn't verry dry
if the air is nice and moist and warm, they can survive realy long without even touching water

yeah im currently building an acrylic fence even higher around the pond, so they cant jump out, cause i lost one (it got behind the pond liner and died) and now the suppliers for my shop dont have anymore. im down to 5

Thats a very nice set up! Keep in mind that these guys can jump about 3ft. off of the ground when they reach adult-hood. I had one escape my 55 gal. set up and sadly found his dried up remains a day later under my bed. But on a lighter side I hope you enjoy you're indoor pond.
