that mudskipper enclosure looks incredible. I used to have one, but it was just a standard tank with lowered water level and afew floating objects.

I've just bought a wild-caught mudskipper. He came from around Cairns, North Queensland. He's about 6" long and my wife has named him Harold. Haven't picked him up yet as I'm waiting on the tank to be made. It will have a shelf in it that we will pack with mud/clay and the water will be brackish (~50% of full marine).

Anyone have any suggestions on tankmates? The tank will be cycled with mollies but they won't last long once Harold gets in there, based on what the LFS guys have seen. I was thinking of a bullrout. Any ideas/thoughts?

I have knight gobies and violet gobies in with my skippers. I'll also be adding some waspfish [butterfly gobies] soon!

the mudskipper doesn't try to eat the gobies? I had a big mudskipper that easily took out many attempted tankmates that were not that small, like halfbeaks

That's the problem with the one I'm getting. He's a big fellow and chows down on small fish like they're going out of fashion.
