I keep my new apartment at 75-80 degrees so it gets dry sometimes. I slathered on some lotion yesterday because my hands were getting dry. (This was the first time I've put on lotion in a year or so.) A few hours later I decided to mess around with the tank. After I was done, there was layer floating on top of the water. Thought a minute then realized it was the damn lotion.

Any idea on how to get rid of this?

ROFLMAO! you men....:ROFL::ROFL: i can't believe you put lotion on your hands then put them in the tank! idiot! jk jk jk...wasn't your fault, i suppose, right?! well just keep on doing wcs...it should all go away.:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Chicks dig rough hands...if they are smoother than theirs, you are done!

hmm actually that does have some truth to it lol. if a guy's hands were smoother than mine i'd probably wonder why lol. it wouldn't be a big deal but it would be weird i guess :D having said that, feel free to carry on lathering lotion onto yourselves, i am enjoying this!:ROFL::ROFL:

I nearly sprayed Pepsi all over my desk at the "catch and release" lolol

On topic though, I get a light film on the surface of my planted tank from time to time because it has virtually no surface disturbance. Best way of getting rid of it for me is to do a water change with a gravel vac, but tilt the vac upside down a bit so the inlet breaks the surface and it sucks in the surface film.

Good luck...hope the fishies are okay (and your hands are nice and baby-soft :P)

Add a small air stone. Easy fix. Druu can't talk right now, he's getting a pedicure.

I can't stand the feeling of lotion on my skin, when it's sunny I just hang in the shade!
