To make my point complete I bought all he had for sale. All-Happy got them once and Rapps doesnt have them!....So once again I dont think there is another one for sale anywhere, but thanks for the derail!

Why asking a question and then calling the answer a derail?

They might be breeding like crazy somewhere.....? Can you tell me even one place they are for sale in the U.S.?
And no, you didn't buy all he had for sale, unless you think he only sells one!

DERAIL! I didnt only buy one even though its none of your business! And my question is valid! Can you tell me even one place they are for sale in the U.S.? The answer is NO! Please stay off my thread unless its to bump or buy! Thanks

Answering the posters question is NOT a derail.
American Cichlids (.net), Dan Ye-Jennings, has two sizes of them. They are rare, slow to grow and they quibble a lot so they should be bred by anyone who can. If "at risk" fish interest you, look into C.A.R.E.S. conservation group. That's not a derail either, it relates directly to the fish you've listed and their extinct in the wild status.
GL with the sale, they are hard to find.

Nice looking fish. Menarambo are a great fish to keep. Good luck with your sale.

As mentioned American cichlids has them right now and old world exotics almost always has them. In fact almost all of them in the US come from old world exotics. There are only a few of people that breed them in tanks.

To be fair he didnt answer the question. He listed two places that dont have them for sale! Thats why I'm calling derail period!
