the rock...671!!!
i've had my TSN for around a week now, he's only about 3in. i'm worried because i've yet to see him eat. i've tried tubiflex, frozen/freeze dried bloodworms, flakes, numerouse catfish pellets, and even tiny neon tetras, he doesn't seem to like any of it. he's in his own tank now (was in with my pair of RTGG and CK) so there is no comp. for food. he just doesn't want to eat what i have. any suggestions? a week seems like a long time to go with out eating, espically since he's still small. lfs was feeding them flakes, but i'm not having any luck.

I had one that size for a while and he ate frozen Brine shrimp

Hmm that doesnt sound too good as usually they are very greedy... maybe you would want to try small pieces of MP and maybe some garlic as well to stir up its appetite and to remove any internal parasites that might be causing this.

ok, they have that garlic food treatment at my LFS, what is MP? thanks for the info, hopefully it will work

That does sound strange for a TSN. They are greedy bastards when it comes to food.
I have one with my two tigs and he's out grown them within a blink of an eye.

He'll eat until his stomach looks like it's going to explode. Maybe he does have some type of internal parasite or something ? hopefully that's not the case. Turn your temp up a little.

My baby TSN was the same way. Presoaked shrimp pellets did the trick after a day or two of trying.

hi i had a 24inch tsn it ate anything then one day it went grazy and smashed its head on the side of tank and killed itsself i still miss him

my little 3" TSN would only eat guppies when I first got him. After one good feeding of guppies, I cut him off and it didn't take him long to start eating frozen bloodworms and brineshrimp. Now at 4" he greedily consumes chopped up krill as well. Hope yours starts eating for you soon.

my 4" tsn will take anything I give em but pellets .........but it likes the worms that thrive in my gravel the best
