Hi ...ive been keepin fish for 15 years or so now...especialy tankbusters....i have a 8ftLx 4ftw x 3ftD acrylic tank!my tank is also filterd by EHEIM pros,,as well as the EHEIM 2229s.The bac ,underneath,and one side pannel are painted dark AMAZON GREEN,,AND THE SUBSTRATE IS WHITE SAND ...MIXED WITH SMOOTH PEBBLES,,BOG WOOD ..SMOOTH LARGE BOULDERS!
for the surface i USE FLOATING LILLY PADS AND WATER LETTUCE.
for lights i use HALIGIN ...HANGING FROM CELLING!
THE OCUPANTS IN MY SETUP ...ARE AS FOLLOWED.....1-SILVER ARO..30INCH....1-RED TAILED CATFISH..33INCH.......4-TINFOILS.AROUND 14-16INCH..........4-SILVER SHARKS...8-11INCH.......27INCH PERUNNO CAT......24INCH PICTUS CAT......18INCH CLOWN KNIFE....19INCH GIRAFFE CAT.....GROUP OF GREEN SEVERUMS ..RANGIN FROM 7-INCH TO 9-INCH.

i can tell you one thing youre doing wrong. And its not your tank, setup nor fish combo. In fact, i have to say for the most part theyre superb! I think the problem is your being too negative in your outlook on your fish?

How are you gonna take care of you fish to the best of your ability if you truly believe that fish will die for no reason at all ? The mind works wonders ... people heal themselves from cancer just by the power of suggestion. makes you wonder what will happen if you always think the opposite.

You gotta be more proactive bud ..
what happens will happen, but just enjoy your fish a day at a time !

I used to have a 3 incher. Got it to grow to about 8 inches, just died after a water change. I think the pH changed..so it looked a heart attacked the next day. It was stiff!

Hi There, is this true?? or does it happen to every one? is this fish not hardy??
I'm planning to get 1 tomorrow, about 3inches.... any advice??
