Almost no way it's a tig. Direct import price, they wouldn't get a 12 inch + tig for less than 23 dollars, no chance.

The only way it's a tig is if they bought a batch of babies ages ago, and can't get rid of this one.

so i was just visiting my favorite lfs in rochester, it is about half an hour away, but it by far beats any other one in a 2 hour radius.

anyway, they had a stellar looking 14" tigrinus for only $23... how i wish i had the tank to fit him

if it was mero. tigrinus then this would be the one time I say get the fish build the tank later. go to home depot get a pond they're pretty cheap. Mero. under 200.00 is a steal anyday.

so i went back to the lfs yesterday, and apparently they had a mix-up in the price, the tig is actually selling for $44.


on top of that... they had a 12" arowanna that they sold, just before i got there for $30!

tigrinus! wow.. at that price... its like paying a penny for a car. it's almost an impossible price to get a tigrinus. usually it get around at least $100 and up for a 12inch. get it!!!

even for $100 for a 12 inch one, i would snatch that up and ask if they have any more. where is this LFS??? for $44, its a steal.
