but would number 2 be able to have enough light to go across the whole tank
what i mean is would the light support the whole tank
its 3 foot long and i think its about 14" wide and 18" high

look just get 1 150w or 250 w mhy and sup-plement it with 2-4t5 tubes. yes it will be enoiugh par/lux/lumens,m yes it will cover the whole tanl and anymor e w would cause heat problems and burn/kill your corals
