I know he blew his voice on the justice tour but whats his deal now,why does he not try to sing like this still in stead of all over the place.Why play live and always try to sound NOT like your albums.God I hope the new one is good.Ive been a fan,ate crapped and breathed ,these guys when younger so any comments welcome,preferably seeing its a metallica fan thread,I also can play almost all their stuff on guitar and bass so we can talk some of that stuff too.Just,his voice in most youtube vids Ive watched lately just ruins the vibe they had.This was something that only a handfull of bands ever had and I just wonder sometimes if he is so into his rockabilly stuff that he lost some of that oldschool metal drive.He was a huge motorhead fan,you would never know these days.Anyways,just ranting.Used to be that not a single song had a ounce of something I didnt like and now since the black album,I struggle to find one song that dosnt have something to make me cringe.I still love them,its just I miss the old style sooooo bad.Every song had a riff I wanted to go straight home and play on the guitar,now no way.I still listen but nothing sticks.

Dude. Metallica died after the Black Album. Its sad. I have moved on.

by the way,they still have the old songs,I just want to know why they arent performed like they should be.You dont go to a tool concert to here him sing like sinatra.Why cant james sing like he lays down in the studio.

like thats an easy voice to sing like,geez,that guy ,I honestly dont know how these guys do it in the first place.Try to sing through a newer slayer song,yeah right.My voice is gone in like 10 words.Must be a real gift to sing for life,oh well at least I got the guitar,my voice is more like peter gabriel,moby,or even tom waits.Def not Halford.And Brian johnson,holy crap.So james voice is gone for ever,He sure was yelling on st anger.
