metronidazole ray safe?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I get my metronidazole from a local vetinarian clinic. 50 (250 mg) tablets for 20 bucks.
Just told them it was for internal parasites for fish. I don't know if all vet clinics will, but
you could try that also.

That is a great Idea.. I guess I never thought of a vet seeing fish since you can't bring them in, but it makes since they could still try to help.
Thanks!

The best thing to do with metro is mix it with the food. if your feeding frozen blood worms, mix the metro & worms, re-freeze, serve next day

So i've treated the tank twice with the jungle parasite clear tabs (dissolved before added). Everyone looks great, the rays didn't/haven't shown any effect from the medication whatsoever, all discus are doing well, and my most sick discus I THINK may be eating, not sure yet, but it is looking less lethargic so my hopes are up. Im going to wait another few days and maybe treat one last time.
Thanks all, especially fish room plus for your advice.
