I was going through some of my pictures and came across these photos I took last year in Playa del Carmen. The pictures are of Dos Ojos cenote. Thought I would post them up as an interesting Central American biotope. Sorry I don't have any underwater shots but there were a bunch of Mexican tetras and a few beat-up looking Cichlasoma uropthalamus.
Those are some stunning photos! The color is so vibrant - I took a few photos of the same scene and mine are drab in comparison. Just goes to show what some photography skill and a good camera (two things I need) can do...
I've been to Dos Ojos a couple times, as well as quite a few other cenotes.
