Mexican cenotes - Central American biotope

I have been there, I also recomend swimming at Xcaret or snorkeling at Isla Mujeres.

Dan Feller - you probably don't remember this but I actually decided to visit the cenotes based on your suggestion :)

Unfortunately, I developed a mild case of "reverse block" on Cozumel so I couldn't actually do any diving when I was there, which I was pretty bummed about. I'm definitely planning on going back.

That's really cool! I didn't remember, but now that you mention it, I do.

That's too bad about your ears, my wife has had problems with eustachian blockages a number of times. After diving Cenote "el Pit" (to 130') which is directly behind Dos Ojos she blew out a lot of blood - that may have been her last dive...
