thus a dovii needing a solo tank i have to wait a while before my wife will let me get another tank. so im on hiatus, pining my time till i can get another tank or 2 for more monsters.

The male is about 10". The female is 6 or 7". They are sitting on a batch on newly hatched fry. Its about their 7th spawn they have had. The male came from WetThumbAquatics, and the female is from Ash's petshop in Dearborn, the guy who sells lots of different types of piranha..., cant remember the name of the store offhand.
They are fine together most of the time, but I did have to separate them for a day or two when he started to get a little too rough. I am hoping they keep it to a minimum... She can fend him off pretty good most of the time, and she can actually be the aggressor most of the time herself.

Yah, your right CubanB, sorry for even mentioning that... LOL. It is a really nice colored male for sure, it was just that I didn't see much speckling in the top half of the body, or dorsal & anal fins, but colorwise, it is way too nice ! Its sometimes hard to get the true look of a fish in pics, so, sorry about my confusion.
