A STRAIGHT LINE... this isnt the fast in the furious where people race through streets..... The drag race is all that matters..... 1 quarter mile at a time...

Why couldn't Ford just pick one or the other and go with it?
Through college I drove an S-10, bought it for 1200, lasted 4.5 years before the body started falling apart. Ran like a top to the day it was crushed, never even burned oil. I replaced a water pump and heater core the whole time I owned it. Best vehicle ever. All of my fords have either taken a frustrating amount of time or money to keep on the road.
I might switch after I'm done with the F-150 I have now. (I'll always keep my car.)

Compare the corvette to the GT.. the ford GT destroyed a dodge viper on live tv .. stock in a quarter mile, so trust me a GT would crush a corvete..thats all you chevy lovers can love is the corvette..... truth be told chevy switches there engines so many times there more confused than anyone.. ford still keeps the same ass pounding engines day in and day out... by the way i dont recall chevy winning the Lemans as many times as ford.... yea.......PennReels84;2697310; said:

I don't know, I bought my latest F150 last spring and put $1500 worth of "common Ford repairs" into over the summer. Sort of a heartbreaker really. I'm on a Ford Forum, just to help me diagnose problems with a couple of my trucks, and it seems so many of them have the same "Ford" problems.
My car has been good to me, but I built it by hand. Like I said there's just a lot of weird things that ford did over the years. Chevy parts are interchangeable, hook up a 60's engine to a 90's tranny and they bolt up, not ford's. You need year specific parts... and so on.
I love Ford and drive ford, but sometimes I wish I spent less time with a wrench in my hand.
