lol i love how ppl are sayin how they can mod the american muscle cars an say there fast. yes they are "uncle owns a '70 roadrunner 440" but i have a awsome sleeper car. the ricers hate gettin burned by a '02 taurus lol. its got a custom dual exhaust with a cold air intake an a jet performance chip that has the hp around 275 hp. an yes it is the duratec V-6 3.0

Japan have a way different mindset then the US, or European cars.
they are about fuel economy, and also the government limited their cars to only have 280hp stock.

Also whoever is dogging on Force induction. name one race team in nascar, that doesn't used force induction.

Forced induction will always be better then N/A.

You get more horsepower, while reducing weight.

"limited" meaning restricted via ECU/fueling/airflow. cars sold outside of japan are not under the "rule" and thus will find different engine configs/spec. In any case the guideline was not in writting as i understood, rather a gentleman's agreement between car makers and govt. The guideline is no longer enforced.

you must be on something. A corvette Z06 will run you near $50,000
a skyline from Japan rightside drive will cost $30,000 but to ship and do all neccessary paperwork it will cost more than that z06. Ive never owned a skyline but from seeing a friends one it sure can hang..and if you can afford a skyline you are definitely not a KID who cannot afford a NICE CAR. if ur gona insult skyline because it is not Domestic you m ust be white

No way, more like $70,000 for the original US Skylines, modified by MotoRex. But MotoRex shut down, so you'd have to get a used one. I see a Nissan Skyline GTR R33 every day when I'm coming home from school along with a "Mine's" tuned Evo and a modded Civic EG. However the new Nissan GTR R35 is US street legal and is sold in the US.
