Yes. Definitely a spatuloricia...a recent species coming in as caquetta "loricariia"...I have a pair.

have they bred for you yet? so they only have a common name currently?

At 6", I don't think they'll be spawning for some time...I actually plan on letting them go within the next year or so, before I head off to get my own place (movin' out of the dorms). Before I left for school, I noticed the male getting quite hairy on the rostral area. As far as I know, the genus is very poorly described, hence the number of sp. "[insert locale of catch]"
