I don't know man.. looks male to me in that pic. Pull it out and get a vent shot.

don't really wanna stress it out too much just to vent it. it's a mission to get any fish out of that tank. here's a couple more pics. the shemale doesn't have any spotting in the dorsal or anal fins like my male does, and is quite yellow in comparison to the male also. the freckles are also a bronze colour not black.

yeah i think it def a female. it seems to have lost alot of colour due to the fact it is no longer the most dominant fish in the tank, however they seem to have paired up a bit (well they haven't tried to kill each other LOL), so hopefully she will start to colour up a bit soon. maybe even breed.....
