Eddie, I'm pretty sure that you're in the playoffs if you win & UnstoppableJayd loses or if you win & UnstoppableJayd wins yet you have more points total. Those are the most likely situations that will allow you into the playoffs; there are some other more unlikely ones, though, too.
Yeah, he's one of the people who got one of the pick ups I was going for. Honestly, this is all pretty exciting.

I think it's interesting that the one seed may be put at a disadvantage compared to the 2 seed.

The top two seeds get a bye the first week, though. The top seed isn't going to be at a disadvantage as teams are reseeded for the next round thereby pairing it with the lowest remaining seed.
But, considering the 1 and 4 seeds are the two best teams, and the 3 seed wins, they'll have to play each other before the championship. This is why I wasn't a big fan of seeding by division. But oh well, hopefully the 6th seed can win.

The idea was to go for a more NFL-style playoff system. It's the same concept that let the Giants & Broncos in as top divisional seeds last season despite having inferior records to some of the wild-card teams.
