Doing water changes
since the musclemilk thread was so huge and we have a lot of peole who are into fitness on this website and everyone has there own reasons for fitness i just want to see who is up for a fitness challenge. Since not everyone has a gym membership here ill keep it simple with stuff you can do yourself at a park or at home for pretty much everyone. So this is a benchmark workout to see where you stand. Essentially you your going to go for 20 minutes and do as many rounds as you can 1 round consists of 5 pullups 10 pushups and 15 squats bodyweight only. Now i know that not everyone can do pullups so do as many as you can then once you cant do anymore doing jumping pullups where you jump up to the bar and pull yourself the rest of the way. If you are in good shape you should be able to complete 20 rounds i myself can only get to 15 so far so i have a way to go still.

One thing is there is also a record for this workout that has not been beating for over a year just incase anyone wants to fib about doing a million rounds in 20 minutes. So who's in?????:popcorn:
 
i was thinking of starting a fitness/lifting thread myself seeing there are people here who actually are into that hobby.

i bet ill have a hard time on pull ups.
 
Good idea.. We should also have a thread on fitness.. Like for people who want to loose weight and for those who wanna gain weight...

Differant diets too...
 
I'm in. I've got to lose some serious weight. My goal is 30 lb of fat gone, 15 lb muscle gained
 
I fit in my pants, that is good enough for me.
 
I won the Rutgers benchpress and squat challenge a few months ago. Bench 1.5x and squat 2x your bodyweight for as many reps as possible in an unlimited amount of time. Naturally, I'm in.
 
i need to lose weight,no boyfriend for 9month :thumbsdow.... i can't do pushups i only got ickle arms, i like to do squats :D i make sure i do at least 200 a day.

We could even do updates for people as a kind of motivational thing they could just say theyve lost 12 pounds or post pics before and after or whatever they want.

whats a pull up

You could do pushups with your knees on the ground instead of your feet then you could build up to it. And a pull up is when you hang from a pole with your hands then pull yourself up to bring your chin over the bar.








Im curious has anyone given this a shot yet??? :popcorn:
 
I'm in. I love fitness challenges, I will definitely try it! I would right now but I just got back from a run so I'm kinda beat. 20 does sound tough.
