That's right blame the teachers

Hope that the teacher moderator doesn't see this. He looks like the Hulk and can kick serious arse. lol

As a trainee teacher who is in charge of the reading/spelling list lol I am deeply offended and yet to meet a teacher not to care about their child's education in a holistic manner unless they have other prioritized issues to contend with.

Never said it was the teachers. Its the bureacrats here (US) in Washington
who shove the NO KIDS LEFT BEHIND. Its all based on how many kids
graduate so the schools can get funding. The Agenda that Bush started.
A perfect example is my 19 year old step son. Didn't want to attend school,
could care less. At the start of his senior year he only had 13 credits.
So they tell him well just attend the special program we have for Students
who don't want to go. 4 hours in the morning or evening. Now mind you
he needed 11 credits (almost 2 years of credits) to make up to graduate.
He started the program in February and by May 24 he supposedly made up the
11 credits he needed to graduate by doing assignments during this time (on a PC), which I mind you
he probably only attended 75% of the time. To me that is shoving them through
the systems for Government funds, one more student that graduated to add to their tally.
And as for as spelling when my children bring home graded assingments
that do not have any correction or point deductions for mispelling, what
am I as a parent to think. When they don't give spelling lessons what am
I to assume. When my nephew, who attends 1st grade, and his teachers
teach the children to spell the words the way they sound, well....
My kids and neices and nephews all attend AAA rated schools so it can't
be that they are lower rated school districts, So what am I as a parent to
assume......
Just seems to me the emphasis is more on the number of graduates than on the quality of the qraduate.
Well enough of my rant.

Meant no offense to any teachers, just the Bureacrats who are their superiors.;)

All humans are livestock. We are in fact animals, no more no less. We are not above anything on the totem pole of life. Some of us are just more annoying than others, ie OP. Get a life and stop being a spell check, they have computer programs that do that now, its not 1954.

Animals, we are indeed. We are definitely higher on the totem pole than everything else though, whether or not it was meant to be that way. Perhaps all the animals are meant to be equal, but the truth is that they're not. Human beings are more intelligent than all other animals, therefore we are the highest on the totem pole. Now, what you may have been trying to say was that our lives are of no more value than other animals, which I do also disagree with but won't bring up here due to the fact that it could involve religion in some ways.

Back on topic, it bugs me too that people aren't perfect, but those are the facts of life. Nobody can do everything correctly. The people who have terrible spelling could find the cure for cancer. The people who don't understand science at all could be the greatest mathematicians. Bottom line is, we're all different. Rather than knocking on people with bad spelling or grammar, try and help them instead if it really bothers you that much. Or, just ignore it. The world will never be perfect, there will ALWAYS be someone that has bad grammar or spelling. Not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

aint no one cares about no grammerr. for realzo. its the internets and they be speaking what they want to say. you smell me on that broski? ok?

i can almost guarantee that I have better grammar than half the people on here. For your information, i am a 14 year old Californian boy.
