MFK got me in trouble again. hmm will it fit??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
GL man hope that hole worked out for you and you got it in today. And it holds water too....that's important.

dammnn, hope no one crawl through that hole at night lol, you just like the guy who made a whole in hist living room to get the big monster tank down to basement :P awesome!

I didn't read the whole thread but has anyone suggested cutting the tank apart and putting it back together once inside? I assume it is glass.

Fair play to you!

I would have been tempted to fill the tank before the dismantling stair ways and knocking walls down though!

Good luck, I hope there are no leaks!!

you know, i bet it would have been a hell of alot cheaper to get an aquarium guy in to reseal the tank.

now just hope your wife dosent ride this the next time she needs you to do something for her "you knocked down a damn concrete wall for your fish, and you wont do xxxxxxx for me?. you love your fish more than me, dont you?"

I'm enjoying the process, I remember when a tv channel before was talking about Elvis trying to get his piano into his room by knocking down his door.

Sorry for the delay everyone, but its in!!......finally,

i did consider taking it apart and resealing. but in all honesty it was easier to knock down the wall.

only took a couple of hours. (dont think i could strip and rebuild the tank in that time.)

stand is built again. will upload pics later but currently at work and havent brought the lead with me.

it has a couple of chips on the corners, so ill admit im nervous.

none look that bad but its still a lot of water if it does leak.

ive searched a couple of threads and the general consensus is it should be ok.
im still going to put some silicone on to be on the safe side.

fingers crossed lol.
