The low qualities are the cheapest, however he does have a few decent ones for a good price.

Yes, please do find out. The only Red Texas I've seen pictures of have been a real deep red. I thought that one looked "Texas like". It's beautiful nonetheless and I'd be intersted.

Hormoned discus have brighter colors...but they fade away after a few weeks and look terrible imo. What do you guys think??

They are cheep if you get them small. You could always ask if they would take them back if you found out they were hormoned
