yes i have a spare 200w heater in my cabinet.
i also have a back up LFS as my friend owns it and if i was really stuck i could call him and he'd open up for me.

Its interesting that a number of people with backup heaters dont place them in your tanks, especially since it seems like heaters almost always seem to go out when ones not at home....lol

Im always scared that one of my heaters will go out, hence I have BOTH of them in the tank plugged in at the same time in case one goes out. One is simply tuned in at a slightly lower temp. hence if the main one goes out the other one will automatically kick in.

i have doubles of everything i have just incase, i also have a mini generator for my tank and only for my tank:D have everything ready for everything except maybe a volcano accident:D

I'm a big fan of redundancy. I try and and double up wherever possible.

I said no but i do have a few back-ups with all my other fish stuff
Same here but that's for just incase situations only.

I have a cupboard full of heaters and good ones at that. The point is that with these global warming thing I have no heaters on.

It is strange, but it is true. We're past half October and people are at the beach in Portugal and walk around, in the evening, with t-shirts.

The climate change is really getting noticeable.

I have no heaters on, presently.

i have 2 in each tank but keep a spare incase one breaks.
i also run 2 extra filters on my main tank and if i need to set up a tank in a hurry i remove one and use it instantly cycled, they are just internals but do for a hospital tank if reqd.
